Brett and Matt are honoring Memorial Day with Two Very Special Veterans this week. Grant Martin is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army (Special Forces), and Russell Doster is a former U.S. Marine who served in the Vietnam War and is Matt and Brett's Father. Tune in as we discuss the conflicts in American History and the cost to American lives and families. This weekend, let's remember and honor those brave souls, and not forget those who struggle with the aftermath of war.
Martin will discuss the pressures soldiers experience in wartime conflicts and the impact on their families and loved ones. He will also discuss how deployed soldiers deal with the pressure of missing the major life events of their children, often over the course of 12 to 18 months.
Russell Doster will share some of his experience during the Vietnam War, where he was wounded in combat. Russell served with the Third Battalion Fourth Marines during the Tet Offensive in 1967 and 1968.
Please tune in and join us in honoring our brave fallen and the families they left behind.
